Work Related Industry Brief

27th March 2009
I have been doing some research on the R.N.L.I.
I researched Hartlepool R.N.L.I and I have discovered the importance of the R.N.L.I being stationed in Hartlepool. The information that it is 'ideal location in Tees and Hartlepool because it a Hub that leads to radial locations so that their response time is reduced if they were based anywhere else. This research is very important to me because i feel that the R.N.L.I are key to the coast of Hartlepool and that is why i have chosen the R.N.L.I as one of the subjects in calender section of the brief. I also have looked at the images on the R.N.L.I site to give me inspiration for Sunday's shoot.

The crew will be in full safety gear uniform, so i was looking for shots with them in gear. I want to photograph them as a group because they are a team and team stands for unity and strength. So I have looked at existing photos of Hartlepool crew as a team. for instance this one from http://hartlepool-lifeboats.org.uk by Tom Collins. This one i like because of the colours that they wear significant to the R.N.L.I. this has motivated me to look at other R.N.L.I photos and research books for example work done by Frank Meadow Sutcliffe.
