Work Related Industry Brief

26th March 2009
Hi I am Tori I am an FdA commercial photography degree student, and this is my first attempt at producing a Blog.

On Monday 23rd March 2009 I went to Northern Creative and had a chat to Bryan Holden to discuss some points about the Hartlepool Calender. We discussed my idea of business with connections to the coast, I suggested the possibility of using the R.N.L.I and me contacting them and asking for the crew in safety gear. Bryan seemed to like this idea. We also discussed the idea of my daughter Jasmine playing in the sand in an image, this he liked too. Coming away I have some other ideas too.

Today I went Hartlepool headland near the Jewish cemetery, looking over onto the beach, and took some shots. After the Headland I went to R.N.L.I station; luckily there was someone manning the station. The guy who was manning the station welcomed me in and said he had just read the email 30 minutes before. We discussed the idea of coming down and taking photographs of the crew in their safety equipment. I asked if it would be ok to bring Model Release forms, he said that would be a good idea, I asked how many and he said about six model release forms would be needed. The crew are available to shoot at an arranged time. I have offered to give the images to them on a disc so they can display them in the station.
I then went along the path near the R.N.L.I. over looking the headland, the original part of Hartlepool. I went to the marina and took some images around the area of the Marina gates.
